Strawberry Fish began with a creature out of place, or maybe exactly where it was always meant to be. The pink gives it softness, but also power. There’s movement in the stillness, and tension in the simplicity.

This piece is part of Jonah Ballard’s evolving visual language — where color is a mood, and each form feels like a symbol from a dream you half-remember. Strawberry Fish doesn’t explain itself. It just stays with you.
